Flight of the Lillies Series #7

This is a special series created during all the hardship, struggle, and loss during the pandemic - I wrote the following poem to accompany the collection…

I watch out my window as wind and water dismantle Summer’s beauty preparing the land for Fall. Such a bittersweet time, this transition, this surrender, this dying. We are all going through it... human and nature, all preparing for this quiet, dormant season - this time of curling up tight, of contemplation, of hopeful healing and planting seeds. I raise my prayer that we will all embrace the letting go, welcome the flight of this past season and it’s traumas so we are free and ready for new growth, the sweet beauty that is to come.
